The Erasmus+ KA2 program, renowned for its dedication to fostering educational innovation and collaborative opportunities across Europe, has recognized our project, “An Artificial Intelligence Curriculum Based on Historic Board Games for Youth Development,” as a unique initiative that intersects technology, history, and youth education. This strategic partnership aims to leverage the rich cultural heritage of historic board games, integrating it with cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) technology, to craft a comprehensive curriculum designed to boost cognitive development, strategic thinking, and technological proficiency among the youth. Through this innovative approach, we seek to bridge the gap between traditional learning methods and modern educational needs, providing young learners with a unique platform to explore AI in a context that is both engaging and intellectually stimulating.

This project focuses on empowering youth by enhancing their problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and understanding of AI through the lens of board games that have been played for centuries across different cultures. By doing so, it not only preserves and promotes cultural heritage but also introduces young people to the principles of artificial intelligence in an accessible and relatable way.
